I'm writing this five days later I have achieved my first 10 miles. I weigh 235 pounds and have not been executed years ... until recently.

Two weeks ago I was running for a change in my fitness workouts. make for much of the year is not a cardio workout, with the exception of the high repetition kettlebell lifting. The most I've ran in the past 3 miles and was about 6 or 7 years. When I run regularly (and by normal I mean, once or twice a month), was the proximity of a road that was exactly 1.5 miles, never tried this more of a turn (which I have 3 miler before another route with less hills).

As I said two weeks ago, I went out again and I met my old road, 1.5 miles in 15 minutes. This is typical in the implementation of [semi] regularly. What was not typical of how it handles the hills and ended with a strong sprint. My performance has surprised me! I ran very well test it was the first time you over the years.

Next time, I told myself, I will be trying them again and again to my surprise, I was strong and he was tired of matching my previous best. I would like to continue, but have the friction of my thighs and normal walking impossible. Such is the life of a great man.

For now I realize that my kettlebell lifting had my heart and lungs to the efforts of the race prepared. In retrospect it is funny, most people use for fitness for sport running, but I have the sport kettlebell conditioning.

Fast forward a week and I'm on vacation in Ocean City beat long runs on the beach and throw the kettlebell personal training diary every day.
I felt with my conditioning at this point and I wanted to see how far he could run. After a stop back at the Nike outlet on the way and take a pair of shoes Free 7.0, with almost empty, said his wife would be back a little and without heat in a race 10 to 1 mile.

This is the incredible athletic achievement of my life!

I plan to try out the new nike shoes, maybe two feet. Instead, I ran 6 laps, then back up around the block a few times for a total of 10 miles! So at 235 pounds and two weeks after the implementation of specific training in the bag, I could run continuously for 2 hours and 4 minutes.

The next day I ached. I could not stand, sit or walk without great pain, but worth it! This race gave me a new perspective on this, I can do. 2 hours to think about things and I think more enforcement. I thought it is good to be able to run. I thought about how you as the basis of race. And probably most of all I thought about how best to run.
